SENIOR COMPANION PET CARE PROGRAM

Helping People Keep the Pets They Love

The Senior Companion Pet Care Program helps eligible seniors and vulnerable pet owners access subsidized mobile pet services when financial or other barriers make companion-animal care difficult to maintain.

Why This Program Matters

For many older adults and vulnerable pet owners, a companion animal is an important source of connection, routine, comfort, and companionship. A financial hardship or other barrier can make routine pet care difficult to maintain.

AristoPup Cares works to reduce those barriers by helping qualifying pet owners obtain needed services and maintain the human-animal bond whenever possible.

How the Program Works

1. Request assistance. A pet owner, family member, or referral partner can begin the process by submitting an assistance request.
2. Review. AristoPup Cares reviews the request for program eligibility and priority.
3. Determine support. Approved assistance is based on the individual circumstances, program priorities, available funding, and service capacity.
4. Coordinate service. AristoPup Cares coordinates the approved assistance with the pet owner and an appropriate participating service provider.
5. Document the impact. Services and outcomes are tracked so the program can demonstrate responsible use of resources and community impact.

Who the Program Serves

• Seniors and older adults who need help maintaining care for a companion animal
• Pet owners experiencing financial hardship or significant barriers to needed services
• Vulnerable or disadvantaged pet owners whose ability to maintain pet care may be at risk
• Eligible residents within the program’s current service area

Each request is reviewed individually. Meeting a general description above does not guarantee assistance.

A Partnership Approach

AristoPup Cares works with community organizations, referral partners, donors, volunteers, and participating pet-service providers to extend the reach of the program.

Approved services may be fulfilled by participating providers, which can include AristoPup Grooming, as part of an approved assistance arrangement. AristoPup Cares remains responsible for program eligibility, authorization, documentation, and impact tracking.
